Course Style - 2-day Live Instructor led or Face-to-face Course summary Our Agile Project Management™ courses (AgilePM®) address the needs of those working in a project-focused environment who want to be Agile. Based on the proven fundamentals within DSDM Atern, the Agile certification provides the ability to deliver Agile projects in organisations that requires standards, rigour and visibility around project management. Course Objectives: By the end of this course,, you should understand the key principles and terminology within the Agile Management Foundation guidance. Specifically: • The underpinning philosophy and principles of Agile • The lifecycle of an Agile project, including alternative configurations • The products produced during an Agile project and their purpose • The techniques used and their benefits and limitations • The roles and responsibilities within an Agile project. Pre-Requisites • There are no prerequisites for this course Who is this course for? • Project Managers • Product Managers • Project Coordinators • Project team members Course structure The course is a non-residential two-day course providing the core principles needed to facilitate a successful project with a degree of scope and agility that not many other methodologies provide. The AgilePM certification is useful to all candidates and competency levels ranging from highly experienced project managers to those new to the industry. The course has a balance of theory and practical experience of the techniques of Agile project management. The course will cover: • What is Agile? And why use DSDM? • Philosophy, Principles and Project Variables • Preparing for success • The DSDM Process • The People – DSDM Roles and Responsibilities • The DSDM products • Key Practices – Prioritisation and Timeboxing • Planning and Control throughout the Lifecycle • Other practices At the end of the course, you will take a one-hour multiple-choice exam, which leads to the AgilePM® Foundation certificate. Exam Format: • 50 multiple-choice questions • 25 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) - 50% • 40 minutes duration • closed-book exam, no material allowed.
